EVLT - Endovenous Laser Treatment

EVLT treatment of varicose vein uses lasers that generate high-energy. The produced heat is absorbed by haemoglobin and the surrounding tissue, which then results in the formation of steam bubbles. The bubbles cause blood to boil and induce thermal injuries to the venous endothelium and intima.
